My Mission
Through the Hermey the Alpaca picture book series, I create warm, engaging stories that help children understand emotions, build confidence, and learn gentle life lessons. My goal is to spark imagination, encourage meaningful conversations, and make each story part of a child's everyday world.
Kevin, Hermey & the Stories Behind the Books
Kevin M. Cordeiro began writing children's stories around the small but meaningful moments that shape childhood. Inspired by years of New England farm life and Hermey, the alpaca behind the series, his books explore belonging, resilience, sharing, courage, kindness, and empathy.
The Hermey the Alpaca stories are designed to feel welcoming and easy to share. Each book invites children and the adults reading with them to slow down, talk about feelings and choices, and return to the story again and again.
