Easy Recipe on the Back of Package
Ingredients:
- 1 package of chicken Madeira seasoning mix.
- 1-pound of thin sliced skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz package of sliced mushrooms
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1½ cup water
Directions:
1. Mix in seasoning mix with 1 ½ cups water, set aside.
2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
3. In a saucepan, heat butter and oil over medium high heat till melted.
4. When butter/oil begins to foam, add chicken and sauté 3 minutes per side. When done remove chicken and set aside.
5. Add mushrooms to pan with seasoning mix liquid to deglaze pan.
Continue to cook on medium high for 10 minutes.
6. Add chicken back to pan and cook for 5 minutes.
Serve with rice or potatoes.
